Great concept, love the idea that I could have used my dslr camera instead of just my iPad. However, I was unable to use this service after purchasing a month’s subscription. It continually crashed when I attempted to use it. Apple only refunded half. Not happy with this experience and will think thrice the next time an app requires payment before even offering a trial.

I tested a few photo booth apps for an upcoming event, and LumaBooth actually made the best overall impression in terms of functionality. I will only be using it for one month for my event and then canceling, which is good because the subscription is quite expensive at over €20 a month. Honestly, if I had enough time, I would have just built my own app. However, my biggest issue—and the reason for the low rating—is the incredibly outdated user interface. It is not intuitive in the slightest and it took me quite a while to figure out how everything works. There are some really clumsy design choices: for example, some words are awkwardly split across two lines. Also, setting up the lock mode PIN is highly confusing. There is no "confirm" or "save" button; you just have to press the "back" button to apply it, which is terrible UX and leaves you guessing if it actually saved. It gets the job done for my event, but for this premium price tag, the developers desperately need to provide a modern, polished, and user-friendly interface.

Event prints one picture and stops printing the next ones even though I started a session right after it. Whenever I start a new event, it only prints out one time, I don’t even modify anything in any of the apps.

Yo he tenido varios eventos coj esta app. Ya le entiendo para hacer la configuración y el set up. Pero que horrible es cuando tengo el evento, Falla a lo peor!!! Siempre hago mis test en casa y cuando es dia del evento siempre falla. Horrible para conectarse al wcm ya van 4 eventos que tengo que hacer conexiones de mi celular con la Ipad y el wcm y mandar a imprimir desde el cel. De la chingada va esta app. Y perdon por las palabras pero falla mucho. 😡

I’ve been using this app for about a year and a half now and even if I don’t use a printer , the app glitches . I’ve made sure it’s on a strong wifi network and it does not matter what I do, it works well for a couple hours or a day or two but consistently will konk out at some time.

The updates have made event management a lot easier. However, the app continues to say that the print limit has been reached. Regardless of how many times I modify the settings or update the app, the prompt still pops up. It also disconnects from the printer constantly, i end up having to print manually through WCM Website. Please help!

En pleno evento la funcion de enviarlas por whatsapp dejó de crear el código QR. Los que tenían iPhone se pasaban las fotos por AirDrop pero es tedioso ya que tiene que pasarlo de 1 en 1. Y los que tenían Androide tenía que esperar a lo que yo les compartía el link de fotoshare.

The interface is so confusing and frustrating. Not intuitive at all. Seems like a lot of the good reviews are from years ago.

Please add a shortcut to trigger the camera with the Mac keyboard. Not all photobooth are touch-enabled.

I wanna love it because it’s half the price than the competitor. However, I don’t like that. It doesn’t mirror photos, no matter what settings I press also it saves all of the pictures to the photo gallery. I have spent about three days now trying to figure out how to have them not be saved on my iPad gallery.
